HOW TO PREVENT OBESITY

fattest_manMore and more people are becoming obese these days, all because of the sedentary lifestyle we are all becoming so accustomed to, thanks to all the gadgets that we have nowadays. I’m seeing more kids who are horrendously fat these days, and I tell you it is not cute. So how do we make sure we don’t end up looking any close to that man in the picture?

Here are a few tips:

  • Eat in small portions – instead of eating 3 big meals, try eating 6 small meals. You don’t have to hold off on that dessert, you just need to make sure that your next meal will be a lighter one.
  • Opt for healthier food choices – trade off those canned goods and instant meals for green, leafy vegetables and fruits. Your heart will thank you for it.
  • Trade off the elevator for the stairs – if going up 2 or 3 floors, use the stairs instead of the elevator. A few short steps can do a lot of good for your heart.
  • Don’t eat in front of the TV – this habit will increase your food intake without you knowing it. Meal times are best spent interacting with the people that you live with, after all, the activity is also a social function.
  • Seek medical help – in case you are already a candidate for obesity or worse, if you already fall under the said category, do not delay that visit to the doctor. Your doctor will likely prescribe the best appetite suppressant and best fat burner suitable for you.

Hopefully, more people will have the discipline to follow through these things. I myself need discipline to follow through these steps.
