Last Saturday, May 8, after seeing my cousin and his family, I excitedly went to Atlanta Center in Greenhills for a Bloggers SPArty at Organic Rituals Spa. The event was scheduled from 2pm-7pm. Gave heads up to my fellow bloggers that I’ll be there from 430-500pm. I arrived at the spa right before 5pm with my fellow bloggers already having either a foot spa with mani and pedi or a massage.
The place has a very homey ambiance with huge, soft cushioned chairs ready to receive tired and stressed out customers. Beautifully coordinated interior pieces like the sofas, chandeliers, drapes and the furnitures should already give you a clue that the place puts a premium on giving its guests a top of the line spa experience, very impressive!
While waiting for my turn, my Organic Rituals experience began with the unforgettable lemon tea that we were served. It looks like an orange marmalade, which completely surprised me. I was actually under the impression that it’s a spread and good thing fellow bloggers told me that it’s actually the tea itself, otherwise I might have ended up topping the sumptuous ‘bibingka’ with it. I actually got high recommendations from fellow bloggers to try out the tea. I scooped a teaspoon full and mixed it with hot water, and well to say that I enjoyed it is an understatement. I actually found myself having several cups of the said tea before and after my massage.
Finally, after some time, I was told it was already my turn. Thanks to my fellow blogger Leirs, she was supposed to get the massage but since she has another appointment and could no longer stay, she opted to give it to me instead. So off I went to take the shower , after I was told I’m next. The bathroom and toilet is immaculately clean, complete with hand towels, holy seat toilet covers, and toilet seat sprays. They have a square shower head that blends well with the interior, simple and yet classy just the same.

looks very similar to that of the spa
The liquid soap and the shower lives up to the name of the spa itself, right from the time I first smelled it, I knew right away it’s organic. The shampoo is something I was keen on bugging the owner to sell. My hair felt so soft and smelled so good when I used it, it was so soft, as if I’ve put on conditioner.
After the shower, I went inside one of the massage rooms. The friendly attendant changed the linens on the massage bed and placed my things on a rattan basket underneath the massage bed where I can see it. She then asked me what oil I would want, and according to her, their Heal Oil (which is minty, is the most requested), but I opted for the Calm Oil, with floral notes. Soon enough, I felt warm, gentle hands kneading my back, arms and legs. It was very soothing and being the massage person that I am, I could tell right away that she is well trained. She asked me twice whether the pressure is enough, which I think is very well mannered of her. I had to try my best to not fall asleep, lest I start snoring. I like the fact that they don’t have stretching, which I think is usual for Shiatsu massage. I was actually treated to a very calming one-hour massage, exactly my idea of a perfect way to de-stress after a long hectic week. Like what I told you, after the massage, I capped off this totally relaxing and rewarding Dream Weaver Massage experience with another cup of hot lemon tea.
The place is highly recommended for people in great need of recharging and relaxing. You may also want to bring along your relatives who live offshore to the said spa whenever they visit Manila, your relatives will love you for it.
I’ll post a list of their services and spa party packages on another entry.
