Last May 15, my fellow bloggers and I trooped to Zoobic Safari. We left Makati around 7am and got there 2 hours after. We were welcomed with a sumptuous breakfast. After which were right away treated to an amazing animal show. The said show features 4 poodles, 3 of which are trained to dance the waltz, one of the 3 is capable of dancing Tinikling, while the other one plays the piano organ. It was later on followed by 2 monkeys, one showcasing his ability to dunk and shoot some hoops while the other one is capable of riding a miniature horse and fence at the same time.
After the animal show we were told to proceed to the white tram since the tour of the place is about to begin. The staff were very nice to give us frozen towels and ice-cold bottles of water to help us cool down. Then we were brought to their newest attractions – the Forbidden Cave and the Zoobic Cave.

The Forbidden cave features animals that were preserved, where as the Zoobic Cave is a fantasy setting of a forest with fake stuffed animals. We shrieked with fright when we saw a fake croc that looks so real, on the hanging bridge. What freaked us all the more is when it moved its head to the other side. It took me perhaps an entire minute before I finally managed to take a step.
After the caves, we checked out the Boy scouts as they were tree-planting. Shortly, after we were taught how to water a plant and conserve water at the same time, we went back to the tram to finally head to the tigers. We transferred to a fully enclosed jeepney and we were accompanied by a zoo staff who’s supposed to feed the tigers a whole dressed chicken.
We were amazed at how huge it is, not to mention its voracious appetite.
Other attractions we went to are the deer farm, crocodile farm; but nothing cracked us more than the ostriches. The tram stopped right beside the ostriches we were inches from being bitten (not sure if that’s the correct term) by two of the ostriches.
And of course we concluded our trip with a picture with the rare white tiger.
