What does an enterprising young mom do when she wants to make her soup dishes even more enticing for her family? What else, but be creative—experiment on recipes with the help of a long-trusted name in delicious soups, Knorr.
That’s exactly what Lea, a self-confessed “domesticated Carrie”, has done for the past month and she’s sharing her experience—and, more importantly for busy moms like hers, her stellar soup recipes through her blog, http://souperstar.ph/.

Lea is an enterprising young mom who shares her exciting soup recipes through her blog, souperstar.ph
In one of her blog posts, for example, our creative mom shows how we can come up with an equally mouth-watering alternative to fried chicken, the Chi-Ka-Knorr, or a sure-fire soup dish for the rainy days, the easy-to-prepare Knorr Chicken and Corn Real Chicken Soup. She even shows how we can use Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup to make the quintessential kids’ favorite fried chicken into an even more enticing and exciting meal.
Lea shares how she became a “souperstar.” She writes, “Remember my best friend Kaye, the girl from Unilever whom I ran into at the grocery last week? I forgot to mention she also helped me out with this little online hobby of mine. She told the people at Knorr about my mention of their product on my blog (the Knorr Cream of Corn soup she enthusiastically endorsed), they saw it and offered to co-sponsor it! Hence the apt website name – SOUPerstar.ph. Yay, thank you Knorr!”
Apart from the really helpful recipes, what makes Lea Souperstar’s a delight to read is that she shares her experiences as a mom with charm and delight that even non-moms would surely find engaging.
Charming and delightful, too, are the photos she shares of her cute kid, Gab, and her husband, J, and their food adventures for the day.
Lea clearly enjoys her role as a mom and being the only and only “Souperstar” on the blogverse.
As she says in her blog introduction, “My late night chasing deadlines copywriting for ad agencies have now been replaced by keeping house and taking care of the two loves of my life—my husband Paolo and our precious 6-year old Gab. And no, I am definitely not complaining. After all, thanks to modern and my trusty laptop, I’m still managing to juggle a career as a freelance writer with being a pretty decent homemaker and part-time blogger. Who says you can’t have it all?”
