RV Homes

image taken from ohgizmo.com

Lately I’ve been thinking of buying a house, but the main predicament that we have, aside from of course the money for the down payment, is the location. We already wanted to move after the experienced the flooding incident due to typhoon Ketsana, locally named Ondoy. On the other hand, we feel that with our budget, we can only move down south or way up East or north. Something that we are unable to consider considering our places of work.

I wish we have local RV manufacturers or at least importers. It would have been more easier for us to own an RV. But then again even if there are importers here, that would be expensive. Also I’m thinking it’ll really be a headache to look for a mechanic that specializes in rv repairs, considering how rare it would be.

Well, perhaps someday I could live out that dream of getting live in an RV for a few days. :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

This is one movie I’m certainly not going to miss. I am saving the date and will definitely make an effort to watch it in 3D. Kinda pathetic but I haven’t really watched movies in 3D. Yeah, either too little time or too lazy to do so. After all, it’s too expensive to watch in a movie theater, I might as well put my internet connection to good use and download movies at home.

Anyway, I’m gonna reserve seats for the screening to make sure we get a good spot. :) Can’t wait for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows movie part 1!

Beyond Tired

Both the hubby and I are dead tired this weekend. We went to GH the morning we got off from work and then went home before noon. When we got home we had lunch, he took care of the little guy while I went to instruct the helpers on what to do. (It’s frustrating when you’re household helpers are not on auto pilot, but I guess I have to give them a little more time considering that they’re new) Anyway, after our early dinner, we found ourselves chained to our bed, glued to the boob tube and later on dozing off.

Today, we’re still very much tired. And tomorrow the cycle begins again. Sometimes, I’m thinking if it’s all worth it. Always not having enough time to spend with my son, enough time to do the things I want to do. But then again, that’s always been the trade off, as one decides to stay in the corporate world. To be honest, I’m actually starting to look for sales jobs that could potentially be may entry out of the industry im currently in. But for now, I guess, I’ll have to stay in my waiting room.

Easy Does it – by Pacific Mobile

image taken from containercity.com

Don’t you just love technology? The wave of constant innovation has brought mankind to where we are right now – a creature of comfort! As intelligent creatures, we’ve always wanted to make things easier. At times, it has resulted in us further complicating things, nonetheless, majority of the time, we manage to outdo ourselves and create ways to simplify things and make life easier for us.

The same principle of making things easy and simple is the driving force for Pacific Mobile Modular Buildings. It is the company’s desire to ease up manual labor, reduce manpower costs, which of course equates to cost reduction to the part of the contracting company, but without definitely, compromising the quality. Another benefit that goes with having the said company construct your building, is the time involved. Going modular defintely gives you an advantage in terms of completing the project in a very timely manner, in contrast to the traditional way of constructing a building.

If you are interested in checking out the kind of building designs they have or their past projects, click here.

On the other hand, if you are cynical about switching over to this contemporary way of building construction, or merely have some reservations about this revolutionary method, view our awards – Pacific Mobile. ;)

Back in Facebook…

About almost 2months ago, I decided to be off the Facebook planet, due to some issues with my better half. It’s just too time consuming and too negative at that time to maintain a facebook account. On the other hand, I felt compelled to reinstate my page in the said social networking site, merely to get in touch with friends who I don’t have other means of communicating. Which means that social networking sites are still pretty useful.

Wanted: LED TV

image taken from blog.activehome.co.uk

About 2 weeks ago, the hubby and I trooped to Greenhills to buy his PS3. It was a gift for his birthday. It works two ways for me, one he stays at home so no more jealousy paranoia for me, and he gets to save by staying at home. On the other hand, when we got home and he tried it on, it looks like some of the games are in black and white. We later on found out that the culprit is our 12 year  old tv set. So we’re saving up for now for a new LED TV. Any suggestions on what’s a good and affordable brand?

Sleep Deprived

image taken from rense.com

My circadian rhythm is absolutely skewed. I miss sleeping at nights. For the past 9 years, sleeping at night has been a luxury during the restdays and was a major blessing for two years that I was given a dayshift account and became ordinary at the time I was in between jobs. Nonetheless, I so miss sleeping at night. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful that I have a job. On the other hand, it’s just too taxing. I really hope and pray that I can learn what God is teaching me soon enough so that I get to graduate from this stage.

In the mean time, any suggestions for a good sleeping pill or ways to induce sleep?

Greenhills!

Two weeks ago, we went to Greenhills. Yes, we braved Greenhills despite the payday weekend. We found a nice playplace for kids at Shoppesville, where the kiddo had fun. While we went around to look for things to buy. It’s just overwhelming, how so many things are out there. So many things to splurge on!

Aside from the usual knock off bags, shoes and shirts you’re sure to find in Greenhills, with the holiday season coming up, christmas decorations are starting to abound in Greenhills. And since we want to avoid the holiday rush, we’ll be off to Greenhills again this weekend. ;)

How I Met Your Mother

Had a marathon session of watching seasons 1 – 5 of this series last week. I must admit, it’s light and entertaining. No wonder a lot of my friends are addicted to watching the said series. Thank God for torrentz and for well dvds. I think it is mostly the character of Barney Stinson that makes the show hilarious.

Anyhow, tomorrow I’ll be watching the latest episode. :)
