CDR King started out around 2005 if I’m not mistaken. I came to know the place because my husband used to frequent it for CDs. Yes! Taken from its name, the place started out as a stall selling blank cds and dvds. My husband likes to burn copies of his music and movies and so we buy from them once in every three months before. It is amazing at how the store grew and became very popular. As it grew, it is noteworthy to mention that they have become more organized and that they have indeed added a lot of items into their product line. In fact nowadays, they already have items like vaults, mini refs, computers, LCD TVs, office tables, tv mount stand among many other gadgets.

There are people who sneer at the quality of products you can buy from the store, but come to think of it, given how cheap the products are priced it’s of course a given that the quality will not be as promising as those of really branded and expensive items. But if you are careful when it comes to handling your gadgets, chances are it will really last for some time. It is reasonably priced, and well they do have a warranty period anyway, so that’s still much better than buying from random kiosks in tiangges. Last week our house maid asked me to buy her a mobile phone that is within her budget of 1,200 including the memory card. While I got the mobile phone for P999 at an outlet of a Cherry mobile retailer, they are selling a 2GB memory card for P300.  I opted not to buy and went to CDR King instead, and it was a good thing I did, because I managed to buy a 4GB micro SD card for only P220. And it’s still working fine now.

Next time you want to buy a computer accessory or electronic gadget, you may want to consider CDR King. And no this is not a paid advertisement for them.
