With much thinking and with the comments that made in time, plus the opinion of a lone sponsor we have decided to do raffle for the contest instead. Although it is very much tempting to resort to the point system, I myself have decided not to join some contest because I find it way too complicated. On the other hand, now that I am the one having the contest, I realized just how tedious it’s going to be. I know I told you about two weeks ago, that I will be having my first blog contest. Pardon, me for not launching it soon enough. I was thinking of launching it on April 1st but you guys might think I’m just fooling around so I’m going to go ahead and launch it today. After all, it’s my dad’s birthday today. Connect? Well no connection really, I guess I’m just feeling a little more generous today so I’m going to go ahead and post the details and mechanics today.

Condition: working, no repairs needed only needs cleaning. We got a new one as a blessing through my brother-in-law late last year so we stopped using it.

Yes you read that right, I’m having a blog contest. I already talked to my husband concerning this contest. Honestly, he has some reservations about it at first. First and foremost, we don’t have sponsors, at the same time, like me, he is very much tempted to have the “prize” installed in our living room since the heat is just too punishing these days. The said thing used to be in our bedroom, but since we got a blessing – God gave us a new unit from my brother-in-law last year, we opted to use the new one. So our old unit is just gathering dust in our backyard. Although we badly wanted to have it installed in the living room, we decided against it. Why? Because we already have 2 that we use regularly, adding another one would mean a skyrocketing electric bill. So there, I managed to convince my hubby to give it away. Watch out for the mechanics coming up  very soon.

Since I’m currently at home with a lot of time in my hands, blogging, plurking and using facebook occupies pretty much most of my time. Of course, that’s second to my mommy duties. And recently, I have been rather fascinated with joining blog contests. I chanced upon Animetrics blog from her plurk page, we have some plurk friends in common. When I learned that she is going to have a contest to commemorate her blog’s first year, I told myself I’m going to join it. In her teaser, she mentioned that she will be awarding the first person to give an entry a special prize. Too bad someone else beat me to it, but here’s hoping I can convince her to award me one of the prizes.

Personally, I wanted the Neutrogena Wave Starter Kit. But I’m going to opt for a different prize. I wanted to win the ACE Water Spa gift certificates for my son. Since my hubby and I are both in between jobs, bringing the little man to a beach or a pool resort is not that feasible, given our tight budget. On top of that, the reason I wanted to bring him there, is because we were told by his occupational therapist that swimming is a good activity for sensory integration. My son is currently going through occupational therapy three times a week for sensory integration. We have yet to go back to his developmental pedia for the diagnosis and his second check up, hopefully its not Autism.

So I really hope I win the GCs to Ace Water Spa so we could bring him there. It’s also a good thing that the said facility is within the metro so going there doesn’t have to be expensive and difficult.
