Ferrari Toy Cars Care of Reyjr

Reyjr giving Nathan the Ferrari Toy cars

Few weeks ago, Reyjr ran a contest in his blog. Love the simple mechanics – just let him know why you wanted to win the Ferrari collectible toy cars and invite your friends to like your comment in his Facebook page and whoever has the most number of likes wins the challenge. Well, I really wanted to win the cars for my little boy and so I went ahead and solicited the help of friends. My dear brother-in-law, Kuya Louie and Nathan’s dear Ninang Harbs, also requested the help of their friends and it’s absolutely heart-warming. Read more…

LinkedIn, Monsters, Jobstreet

Technology has indeed changed the way we live today. Ten years ago, I even got to experience walking into offices just to leave my resume. I could almost hear your thoughts and yes I agree, quite a waste of money. But well back in those days, that’s pretty much how things are done. Fortunately, I didn’t have to do it for long with the advent of Jobstreet and Jobsdb. Not only do you get to go through a variety of job postings, it also saves you time and energy, since you’ll only have to leave the house when you already have an appointment with the company you’re applying to.

I even signed up and uploaded my resume in Monsters, which I find rather silly later on, considering that it is a job posting site for US jobs. Too bad, I actually like the site since it was rather easy to navigate. At the same time, you could customize your search by areas and localities, you simply just have to type the select the city or state, or even put in the keywords like Charlotte jobs and in a matter of seconds, you get a list of the job postings in the said area. That’s something I’ve yet to see with Jobstreet and Jobsdb.

LinkedIn recently came into the picture as well. It’s like a more professional looking Facebook. You can even get testimonials or recommendations from your previous bosses and colleagues. Cool!  I’d say, I’m really glad that I’m a child of my time.
