Secrets of the Vine: Breaking Through to AbundanceSecrets of the Vine: Breaking Through to Abundance by Bruce Wilkinson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Secrets of the Vine: Breaking Through to Abundance is beyond a beautiful read. I thank the Lord for this book, in the same way I am grateful for the Mr. Wilkinson’s other book – The Prayer of Jabez. The spiritual truths and insights in this book has been instrumental in making me learn about what it is like to break through from daily routines and devotions that feel rather empty and more of a chore in the past. MARRIAGE COUNSELING IN THE PHILIPPINES

The rate of divorce in western countries are said to be higher compared to that of countries in the East. This may be true, but then again, we have to remember that most Asian countries do not allow divorce and same goes for countries in the Middle East. On the other hand, annulled marriages are also on the rise in the Philippines despite the exorbitant costs involved in the process, not to count the undocumented cases of separated couples.  Read more…

ASCENT FROM DARKNESS BY MICHAEL LEEHAN – BOOK REVIEW

Ascent from Darkness: How Satan's Soldier Became God's WarriorAscent from Darkness: How Satan’s Soldier Became God’s Warrior by Michael Leehan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book is totally hard to put down. The fact that it is a true account of how a man practicing satanism for two decades was redeemed by the Lord’s saving grace from total destruction makes it even more hard to put down.

Admit it, we’re all intrigued by the enigma of the dark side. The fact that the best sellers list is constantly dominated by stories of blood-sucking vampires, new age books on spirit guides and so many other things that lead us away from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The accounts of Michael Leehan about his encounter with poltergeist demons, the blood sacrifices and the demon possessions proves that we’re really battling principalities in the spiritual realm.
