SUMMER OUTFITS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

I do not know what it is about being pregnant that heightens your senses and also increases your body temperature (and sex drive as well).  With that, preggers are bound to get more sweaty this summer. And there’s no better way to cool down than to hit the beach. If you’re pregnant and are hesitant about going to the beach because of your baby bump, not to worry. Here are some great swim suits to add to your collection of maternity clothes.

MISSING LENOVO THINKPAD

Both of our laptops are actually acting out lately. The other one is more aged and thus much more slower, where as the other one needs to be constantly hooked to the charger because it can only stay on without it for 5 minutes. I’m not sure if it’s just the batteries or something inside it. I’m not a big fan of the brands of laptops that we currently have, in fact, when I get a chance (which means enough money and amazing thinkpad deals) to buy another laptop, I’m buying a Lenovo. Quiapo-Bound

Tomorrow, the hubby and I are bound for the busy streets of Quiapo, Manila for several reasons. First stop will be his aunt who has a stall in the area. We just want to drop by and say hi, after all, we normally don’t usually go to the said place. Next stop after that, we’re going to have a 2 digicams checked. One was our Canon S3 Is that got submerged in flood water courtesy of Typhoon Ketsana. I had that repaired there last year and well, yeah something’s still obviously amiss with right now. Read more…

AyosDito.Ph: Why I like it better than other online classified ads

I first saw AyosDito.Ph when I read a post from a blogger friend who was raving about the said site. Naturally, I became curious, so checked it out. It was much later on that I began to appreciate the said site, long after I got suspended from eBay (from the sheer mistake of merging my old eBay ID to that of the new – I made another one because I got married and wanted to change everything.).  Anyway, the first time I was able to really utilize the site was when I had to search for furnished apartment for rent in Manila for my aunt who was then vacationing from the US. The site is very user friendly, organized and easy on the eyes. Add to that the fact that the images are loading in my office computer.

The transaction was smooth and the person who placed the ad is very accommodating. I could attribute that to chance or luck, but the rave reviews that I got to read from forums is a good benchmark to say that the site has a good following and that most sellers are decent and easy to negotiate. Although it will of course be better if they can come up with the rating system for buyers and sellers, like another site. Read more…

Crazy Christmas Shopping

It’s finally going to be Christmas next week and people are trooping to the malls and bazaars to cross out items in their holiday shopping list.

And speaking of shopping list, my husband has one more item he wanted to cross out on his list. He wants home theater speakers to go with our new LED TV. With how every mall is filled with busy shoppers all the time, it looks like he’ll get to cross that one out on his list long after Christmas, knowing how allergic he is when it comes to going to public places swarming with people during the holidays.

As for me, I’ll be happy if my Santa drops a new IPOD Nano on my lap.  ;)

Ganzklar LED TV

If you guessed that we finally bought a TV, you’re absolutely right. The husband was giving me the puppy eyes while looking at our old tv set, when his ps3 games are not playing in colored. So about 2 weeks ago, prior to going to church we decided to look around and check out the deals of electronic stores. Lo and behold! We found one that is absolutely a good deal. Since we’ll be using it inside our bedroom, we decided to go for something not more than 30inches. We bought a Ganzklar 24inches LED TV, the husband is absolutely ecstatic! Since the price is really good for a LED TV, no freebies were offered despite that we were paying for it cash. But it was a sweet deal really, it comes with 2 usb drives and is capable of full HD, something I cannot describe. I’ll ask the husband to blog about it in detail though. Everything is good, the only thing we don’t like is the sounds, good thing we can always opt to get an Altec Lansing pair of speakers to go with it. Oh and if you have reservations about the brand, like we were initially, well don’t worry because it’s made in Germany. :)

Black Friday

Black Friday is a much awaited event in the United States, which signals the start of the holiday shopping. And to start it off with a bang, Black Friday is a time when almost all items are marked down. And of course, American or not, anyone who’d see a tag with a 50% off sign will go into a shopping frenzy! Incidentally, the world of online shopping is also catching up. Of course the world wide web will not be left behind, as such buy.com is offering the Cyber Monday. Curious about the fabulous deals they have to offer? Well, I suggest you click on the link right there. :)

Email updates from Multiply

image taken from www.stopfakereform.com/

It’s such a nuisance to open my gmail account these days because of a lot of email alerts coming from Multiply. The said site has evolved into something like ebay, it became a virtual market place. There’s too much emails from sellers looking for suppliers and for people to share their booth space now that the holidays are coming and bazaars are being held left and right. Others are sending messages to inform the rest of the netizens in Multiply about various products like perfumes, rapid weight loss pills, whitening products and so much more. While some are interesting and at some point may be valuable info, I just hope there is a way to consolidate the emails, like send all emails in a day in just one, to avoid much clutter in the inbox. If you have the same predicament, hope you can help me out giving feedback to the admins of the said site.

Wanted: LED TV

image taken from blog.activehome.co.uk

About 2 weeks ago, the hubby and I trooped to Greenhills to buy his PS3. It was a gift for his birthday. It works two ways for me, one he stays at home so no more jealousy paranoia for me, and he gets to save by staying at home. On the other hand, when we got home and he tried it on, it looks like some of the games are in black and white. We later on found out that the culprit is our 12 year  old tv set. So we’re saving up for now for a new LED TV. Any suggestions on what’s a good and affordable brand?
