Summer!!!!

image taken from coffetoday.com

Summer’s here people!!!! I just hope we could go to the beach, so my son could experience how fun it is to play with the sand and well hopefully other kids as well. I’m pretty sure lots of people are planning their summer getaway this early. Add to that the fact that most people are starting to curb down their calorie intake to make sure they don’t have flabby arms and stomachs when they wear their well chosen bikinis. I remember one of my vain male friends who was also thinking of the same thing. How did I find out? Well, I caught him searching for top fat burners for men while we were at work. :)

Anyway, I already have 2 one piece swim suits, just need to figure out where to go! :)

Missing Airports…

It’s been a while since I last travelled and yeah I miss hopping on a plane and going to a new place. And now that Christmas is coming, my fervent wish of having my own white Christmas experience is resurfacing. Someday, in a year or two perhaps.

Aside from Canada, of course, the United States is another country that I want to visit since I have a lot of friends and relatives are living there. And speaking of the United States, one of the states that I want to visit is Missouri, when I came across a site specifically about having a fabulous Branson Missouri vacation. The  site gives the user a way to customize their travel based on the places they want to visit, activities they want to do and more importantly, their budget.

Oh well for now, I have to start with an Asian tour first.

Cebu Pacific’s October Promo

Cebu Pacific has several promos going on right now, their 50% off promo and their Early Christmas promo. Too bad, I still don’t have money at my debit account (my payroll) right now. But that’s fine since I’m still unable to book an international flight anyways because I haven’t got the chance to get a new passport. For some reasons, my husband’s passport survived Ondoy last year but mine didn’t. Anyway, I was thinking of actually booking a flight to Hongkong, after all disney vacations are great when you have children in tow. But then again perhaps Boracay will be more feasible.

California Dreaming

Later this afternoon, I will be ta king the first step in realizing my dream for a better future for my family. I am praying for God’s blessing and speedy processing of our papers. Hopefully we’ll be spending Christmas next year away from Pinas. Despite the title of this entry, please note that my plans of moving to another part of the world doesn’t mean that we were going to the US. On the other hand, I’m dreaming of going to the US mainly to visit California and see my long lost relatives and cousins who grew up there, and of course check out Disney Land. On top of that I’d like to visit some friends in Utah and go to Florida for a grand Orlando vacation.

Things to do in Boracay

This is perhaps out of season to write this article. But then again, having talked to a friend who recently came back to Manila after being employed in Boracay for almost a year, she’s able to experience pretty much everything Boracay has to offer. And I would just like to keep tab of those things, just in case I get the chance to come back to the island anytime soon. Here are some of them.

  • Parasailing or parascending – a recreational activity that will surely delight bigger kids and adult alike. You get towed into a boat while you are on board a specially designed parachute. Be ready to spend roughly $50-$70, depends of course when you are in the island during the peak or off-peak season. Read more…

DREAMING OF BAGUIO

It’s been ages since I last visited the city of pines. I’ve only been there thrice, for the life of me. Yet each trip to the said place is memorable just the same, since I’m with different sets of people when I went there. First was when I was five, of course, I was with my family back then and well, the second time I went up there was with friends and the last one was with my then boyfriend now hubby and my mom and her friend.

Right now, the start of the rainy season got me dreaming of going up to Baguio. Weird huh? Yeah, I guess. Perhaps I’m too extreme. Anyway, I officially have the Hotel Elizabeth in my places to visit list. I’ve read a lot of nice reviews of the place as well as the service. I’m just wondering if they have an electric fireplace installed in each of their rooms. It would be nice to see one like that in Baguio. Well, with or without, I’ll be there some time. This is a promise I’m making to myself.
