READ ‘EM AND WEEP LYRICS – ELUSIVE SONG FROM SWITCHED AT BIRTH

I have been on the look out for this song since I heard it on Switched at Birth. It has a very catchy melody, and the sound of the guitar strings is very soothing.  To be precise this song was used in Switched at Birth Season 1 Episode 22 and 25. Read more…

Nashville takes the spotlight on beTV this February

“With an impeccable cast and tons of talents behind the camera, Nashville could be one of those huge grown-up soaps that hook viewers for years.” -Hollywoodreporter.com

If there’s one show y’all have to check out, make it Nashville. The premise of the aurally pleasing series is an uncanny reflection of the music industry – a country music legend, Rayna James (Connie Britton, Friday Night Lights), is being eased out of the charts after 20 years in the spotlight by the next big thing, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere, Heroes). What probably rubs Rayna the wrong way, is her record label’s insistence on organizing a co-headlining tour with Juliette, to bring up her numbers; and how even Rayna’s kids themselves are bobbing to the pop-oriented songs of her young, sexy and fame-hungry rival. ILLUSORY LIGHT BY SARAH BLASKO

I found this song because it was the background music in one of the episodes of Switched at Birth in season 2. It was I think on the second or third episode where Emmett is asking Bay about why they are not together, said it was painful for him to be with her and not be with her. So when Bay said that friendship is all she could handle right now, Emmett said he’ll just see her around and that he cannot be friends with her. Really lovely song, nice melody and catchy lyrics. Check out the lyrics below if you feel like singing along.

CRAZY OVER CONTINUUM

I was looking for a new and interesting tv series when I stumbled upon Continuum. I merely typed the words 2012 tv series and there popped Continuum, a Canadian TV series that premiered last year. First thing that got me interested is the lead – the stunning Rachel Nichols. I read through the synopsis and decided right away that this show is worth watching. Read more…

OF PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES, POWER-DRESSING, DEPOSITION AND SUITS

My husband introduced me to a new series that got me glued to the pc for the past week, yeah was rather very unproductive as of last week. Well add to that another one that I stumbled upon as of last week. So yeah, my production is a total flat line last week.

Going back, I’m currently into watching this series – SUITS. Reminds me so much of the time I was so hooked on watching Ally McBeal, but Suits is more bad ass! The story line is much more serious of course, we all know that Ally McBeal is all about out of this world cases (i.e. one man, and two woman wants to get married). Suits is all about strategic thinking and being two steps ahead of your opponent. Read more…

KATIE LECLERC REPLIED TO MY TWEET!

Sorry but fan girl mode alert people. ;)   I just decided a few days ago to check on my twitter account. For a while back, I had a twitter addiction phase (thankfully got over that), and just decided to check on it a few days ago. I was absolutely surprised to find a tweet for me coming from Switched at Birth lead star Katie Leclerc! She apparently tweeted me back two days after my birthday. :) God sure knows how to make me smile. Anyway, here’s a screen capture of our correspondence..

Anyway, I really can’t wait for the second season of Switched at Birth and all her other tv and movie projects. And I’m just giddy happy she replied to my tweet. :)
