We were scouting for an affordable health insurance, when we finally discovered Caritas Health Shield. It was a former office colleague who told me about the said company. We initially wanted Maxicare or Medicard, but their premiums are very expensive, specially when we want to buy health insurance policies for our parents. Caritas Health Shield seems a good choice, and now that I’m no longer working, we have to make sure we have a good health insurance policy for us, especially for our little boy. Right now, we are 60-40 already in deciding on getting Caritas, although of course, we’re still reading the fine print.
