CHECKLIST WHEN GOING ON A DIET

diet essentialsBefore you start a diet, there are things that you just can’t do without. These are items that you need to have in your kitchen in order to follow your diet to the letter.

  • Measuring cups and spoons – a little alteration in the measurement of your cooking ingredients might up your calorie count and we do not want that, especially if you are measuring sugar, butter or milk.
  • Blender, food processor or juicer – while you’re already at it, you might want to really change your lifestyle. Eating healthy includes having home-made juices in your diet. We all know that fruit and veggie juice are high in fiber.
  • Scales – aside of course from your own bathroom scale, that you use in order to keep track of your progress, another thing you can’t do without are food scales. You want to be precise when it comes to measuring your food to ensure you’re able to strictly adhere to your meal plan.

I have the first two items, so perhaps before the month ends, I going to buy myself the last one on the list so I can start (again!) my diet.
