AyosDito.Ph: Why I like it better than other online classified ads

I first saw AyosDito.Ph when I read a post from a blogger friend who was raving about the said site. Naturally, I became curious, so checked it out. It was much later on that I began to appreciate the said site, long after I got suspended from eBay (from the sheer mistake of merging my old eBay ID to that of the new – I made another one because I got married and wanted to change everything.).  Anyway, the first time I was able to really utilize the site was when I had to search for furnished apartment for rent in Manila for my aunt who was then vacationing from the US. The site is very user friendly, organized and easy on the eyes. Add to that the fact that the images are loading in my office computer.

The transaction was smooth and the person who placed the ad is very accommodating. I could attribute that to chance or luck, but the rave reviews that I got to read from forums is a good benchmark to say that the site has a good following and that most sellers are decent and easy to negotiate. Although it will of course be better if they can come up with the rating system for buyers and sellers, like another site. Read more…

AyosDito.Ph

I used to frequent eBay.ph and for a time, got hooked on online shopping. That was during the time I was pregnant and with the low priced, pre-owned items like onesies, booties and so many other stuff for babies, I got addicted for a while. Not until I made a silly mistake of switching to my old email address which was registered under my maiden name profile in eBay. That started all the problem, my profile got suspended. I understand that they have to be strict to protect their members, but it was just way too surreal and tedious to go through the process of lifting the suspension. I had to go through a series of verification which involved sending my documents to their office in Singapore. So that was the end of eBay for me.

Since the internet is such a great resource, I came across OLX.com.ph and Ayosdito.ph. I prefer AyosDito.Ph simply because the people frequenting the site seems to be more courteous, in OLX it was the opposite. You’d see really below the belt comments. Too bad though, since OLX’s site is also very easy to navigate. Anyway, if you’re on the look out for quality pre-owned/brand new items for sale, AyosDito.ph is a great site to check out. Lots of listings for real estate, quality pre-owned cars (I just hope that there would soon be ads for cheap auto insurance rate), appliances and mobile phones. And what’s best is that they also have promos for sellers, and I know that it’s for real because I met the winner of the laptop that they raffled last year. :)

Foosball table for less than $100 at Buy.com

I remember a friend of mine bought a foosball table for almost PhP13,000, which is roughly $250 – $300, depending on the exchange rate. I wanted the same thing at home, since it’s a good gaming piece, especially when you are entertaining a bunch of people. I came across a really nice deal at buy.com, they are currently offering foosball tables for only $95.99, which is not even PhP5,000. If only they could also offer free shipping here in the Philippines, that would indeed be a great buy.

Online Everything

It’s amazing how every thing seems to be accessible to us through the use of the internet. It was only when I got pregnant when I got fascinated with online shopping and bidding at eBay and recently, I have been getting great and very affordable buys from a fellow blogger friend. She just updates the pictures in her facebook account and we leave a comment on which blouses we like and then pay her via PayPal. After a day or two, I get the package in the mail. Amazing right?

Well, aside from internet banking and shopping, education has also been re-invented by the world of cyberspace. Nowadays you can get a master’s degree online, you can also sign up for distance education, as well as online trade schools. With the internet, the world is literally within your finger tips. :)
